Passport Services for Indian Nationals

The Embassy of India in Ashgabat provides passport services to Indian nationals residing in Turkmenistan. Applicants must ensure submission of complete documentation for timely processing.

Services Offered:

  • Issue of new passport (10 years validity)
  • Re-issue of passport (on expiry, exhaustion of pages, or change in particulars)
  • Issue of duplicate passport (in case of loss/damage)
  • Emergency Certificate (EC) for return to India

Requirements:

  • Duly filled Passport Application Form
  • Current original passport and a copy
  • Valid residence visa/work permit in Turkmenistan
  • Passport-size photographs (as per specification)
  • Applicable fees in USD (exact amount)

Forms can be collected from the Embassy or downloaded from the Passport Seva Portal.

Submission Timings: Monday to Friday | 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Collection Timings: 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM (on working days)
